Plans in the Making

Obviously, I haven't posted in a long, long time. Life has been very different for us. I settled into a (stressful) manager position with my job, my husband has been (stressfully) unemployed for several months (but is scheduled to go back in a few weeks!!), and frankly, I haven't been to involved in the kitchen scene.

I did make tortillas a couple weeks ago, and am eager to keep practicing my skills.

I also have high hopes for a cake I'm making for a party this coming weekend.

And, when our baby arrives in just a few weeks, I hope to use my time at home wisely, and keep our bank account a little more full, by cooking at home a lot.

So....here we go...
